Post hike note: I didn’t take many pics this day because I just wanted to enjoy my zero.
August 21.
Wanted this to be a more relaxing day since it’s gonna be a long time since I get to see Mup again but it ended up being kinda stressful.
We got breakfast and then I had to buy and pack all my resupply for Norcal. That ended up taking a while and it was stressful trying to buy it all and pack it and ship. We went to the Shop N Kart which is a wierd supermarket with a fuckton of food. We also hit up the fancy natural foods store for fancy ramen.
The post office in town was inside a Walgreens and didn’t take card so that was a pain in the ass. At the walgreens I did run into the three other sobos, Legit, Cheesy Puffs, and Chance. They were also doing a resupply and shipping stuff ahead. Didn’t get to talk much to them. They seem to be doing their own thing anyway.
After packing up and mailing everything which took most of the day, finally got to relax. We watched Coco and I almost cried thinking of my family. It was such a dope movie. Also had a weird thing with Mup. We were talking about being apart and at one point she said she was initially sad but that she didn’t miss me anymore. I was initially kinda happy about that, happy that she’s not hurting without me around but now I feel weird about it. I don’t know. I’m still happy to be here with her but that kinda hurt. Still just gonna enjoy my time with her here since I’m heading back to trail tomorrow.
