Skyline to Sea Day 1.
Did a beautiful mostly downhill 20 miles through rainy redwoods. Little cold and wet but v nice hiking overall. Booked the wrong trail camp and ended up having to hike an extra 5 miles in the dark. Wouldn’t have been too bad except for some reason I was adamant the trail camp was in a different place than it actually was. Ended up stumbling around in the dark in the rain for hours trying to find a trail junction we passed because I was sure it wasn’t the right way. Turns out it was.
Day 2. Easy 6 miles to Waddell Beach past a bunch of flowing waterfalls and lush green creeks. Made it to the beach where we tagged the water before getting a fast hitch to Santa Cruz for noodle soup.
